Marianela is originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela. She was living in Merida, Venezuela when she decided to move to San Jose, Costa Rica due to conflict and political persecution in her home country. Now she is living in Buenos Aires. Previously, Marianela taught Spanish and owned an adventure tourism agency. She loves to travel, meet people from different countries, talk and learn about their culture and interests, so she loves teaching Spanish online through NaTakallam! During her sessions, she encourages her students to be confident and speak freely. She also uses a variety of tools to keep them engaged! Marianela is an ecologist and a passionate recycler.
Griselda Vera

Griselda, 32, is originally from Valencia, Venezuela. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has experience teaching English to children. In 2018, due to conflict, she left her home country. Her journey to safety took her through the United States, eventually bringing her to Uruguay, where she resided for the past six years. Now, she is living in Spain and pursuing a Master’s degree in Statistics. Griselda enjoys having conversations about everyday life and comparing cultures during her sessions. She is passionate about photography, cooking, and hiking.
Pavel Corro

Pavel, 34, is originally from Valencia, Venezuela, where he studied Modern Languages and Psychology. Due to political conflict and unsafe conditions, he had to leave his degree unfinished and relocate to La Plata, Argentina, where he met his wife. Passionate about teaching languages, Pavel has experience helping adults improve their English conversation skills. Working with NaTakallam enabled him to support his family and buy a house. He offers a personalized and friendly approach, making him an ideal fit for learners who benefit from a patient teacher. In his free time, Pavel enjoys watching horror movies, reading, playing video games, and playing the guitar.
