The session was excellent. Ghaith not only delivered a solid keynote, but was able to provide important insight in response to our panel and audience questions. It’s of a great importance to have this possibility to contact with displaced people in other countries. Talking to Ghenwah was life-changing for me. I got to learn so much from her and it was touching to hear her story. Before this, I knew that the journeys could be tough, and that war was ruining people’s lives over there but having a conversation with an actual refugee felt different.

It has been an absolute pleasure meeting Rafah and hearing her story. We have learned so much about a refugees journey and the struggles faced. It opened our eyes and we now have more understanding of why people take these perilous journeys. What courage they have and how they keep going despite the ongoing challenges.

The panel was fantastic. The audience was very engaged and became emotional hearing Hadiya, Saeed, and Kinda's stories. The language partners did fantastic! I absolutely loved working with NaTakallam and have recommended the organization to all I have spoken to about the event. Thank you again for helping set this up! It was a pleasure working with you.
