A Syrian refugee in Lebanon
Ghaith couldn’t work legally for years. Through NaTakallam, he taught Arabic to hundreds of students—one of whom helped him resettle in Italy, where he now works as a journalist.

Sayed twice fled the Taliban.
Teaching Farsi with NaTakallam provided income, connection, and eventually a safe new home.

From Gaza
Shahd had her education interrupted by war. NaTakallam students helped fund her escape, and she is now studying in the U.S., building a future once out of reach.
